If you are even procrastinating about getting this bundle don’t. It is a steal at this price. Viva pinata party animals is alone worth $18. One has to remember that these games are for kids, and the younger, the better (less than 10). My 3 kids play Party Animals all the time (age 8, 6, and 4) and they love it ( i have all 3 systems, Xbox, Wii, and PS3, and party animals is one of the top games they play). They insist that I play with them (4 people can play at once). Don’t worry about metacritic scores for games that will cost $6 each. When metacritic and gamerrankings scores games, they consider the cost of the games as well. For $59.99 each (Shrek and Sonic retailed for that, and $39.99 for VP:PA) they deserve the low scores they got. But for $6 (the cost of Wooper and fries and drink) each just buy it. You can break open the pack and all 3 games are individually wrapped, thus they can be stocking stuffer, or gifts for other small kids with Xbox’s. There is no denying that these are not AAA games like Fable, Fallout etc, but common, what do you expect for $6? That is the price of most arcade games on Live.
I give this bundle 5 Stars because of price. The games are fun enough for kids as well and even if they played it a couple of times only, you get your money worth (though you will likley get hours of play out of Viva Pinata alone). I bought 1 bundle and am considering buying a couple more to give to friends kids. Viva Pinata also has on-line multiplayer, and my older kids can play with their friends over live as well.
I’m not sure why it’s given such a bad review but for the price what can be so bad. Viva Pinata Party Animals in my opinion is worth it alone for the price. It’s a fun family game that the entire family can play. I have a 4, 8 and 12 year old who enjoys playing and even me and my other half play along. It’s not the Viva Pinata we’re accustomed to where you have a garden but more along the lines of Mario Kart.
Shrek the Third could have been better and so could have been Sonic but again at this price, it’s a steal for all 3 games. You basically pay [...] a game and it all goes to a worthy cause.
I bought this for my 9 year old daughter who enjoys a variety of video/computer games. She has the original Viva Pinata and some Sonic versions so I thought this was a sure thing. Wrong. She tried it out a few times and finally brought it to me in a case asking if we could give it to one of the local gaming stores as a trade because it stunk. She was very disappointed with VP and not that thrilled with Sonic, she’s not into Shrek so I’m not even sure she gave it much of a try. I agree with another reviewer, if you want to donate to the charity, maybe choose another method, this one doesn’t seem to be a hit with the kids.

It’s For Kids
We don’t own this 3 in 1 game, but we do have viva pinata party animals, and Shrek. The kids and I play party animals together all the time.
